About the Owner & Company

I am a General Contractor serving primarily Mountlake Terrace and the surrounding area. I am one of those people who has been taking things apart and trying to figure out how things work ever since I was a little kid. I started mowing lawns for neighbors and helping my dad with the cleaning company that he owned at around 10 years old. I wound up going to college at the University of Idaho where I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in General Studies and a minor in Mechanical Engineering. When I was a child, I thought that plumbers, electricians, carpenters etc. were different types of engineers, but in college I realized that most true "Engineers" wind up spending most of their time sitting at a desk on a computer simulating things in a virtual environment. While that is fun in a video-game sort of way, I realized that was not really what I wanted to be doing for the rest of my life. I like working with my hands and seeing more real-world results of my work. I had already received enough credits in Mechanical Engineering to get a minor in it before realizing this. After finishing out a few more random classes to get the Bachelor's in General Studies, I graduated and started working in the maintenance field. Soon after graduating from the University of Idaho, I became a licensed refrigeration technician through Seattle Maritime Academy and I now have EPA Section 608 Universal Refrigeration certification.

After working in the building and property maintenance field in almost every imaginable capacity for several years, I realized there is a lack of people willing to do quality work. Many claim to want to do quality work, but then don't really mean it and seem to want to do the bare minimum to collect their payments. Many don't even want to read product instructions or manuals to make sure they are doing things right, they just want to wing it, thinking that they know enough to not need to follow directions. I am a little different. I always really care about what I do, want it to turn out as well as possible and last as long as possible and I have no problem admitting to myself or others that I need to research or double check something occasionally. I really enjoy doing a variety of things and started my own company to be able to serve the community more in the way I want to. I may not be the cheapest, but you can be sure that I take great care and think of the long-term in everything I do. If you aren't just looking for the cheapest contractor you can find and care about having a person you can actually trust with your property, I could be the contractor for you.

Please explore the site and see what I have to offer. There are many aspects of building/property maintenance for which I am able to provide services, in both the commercial and residential side of things. From mowing a lawn to analyzing an entire commercial building and providing a preventative maintenance program for all the maintainable equipment, my abilities and interests are expansive. I am a sole proprietor with no employees, and although I can hire and subcontract as needed for any project since I am licensed as a General Contractor, I prefer working on smaller things I can handle myself. Still, please feel free to contact me no matter what your needs are. I have done business with several larger contractors and companies in the area over the years while managing the maintenance for some larger corporate businesses. If I can't help you with what you need, I can probably point you towards someone who can.
